This individual’s primary responsibility will be to support project managers throughout the lifecycle of aviation-related analyses. The Project Analyst will be responsible for compiling project data and statistics to provide expert guidance and advice on the probability of success. The Project Analyst will be responsible for multiple projects, assisting in project schedules, collaboration with project teams, and making sure that projects align with company strategy and goals. The qualified candidate must have strong writing, speaking, and analytical skills.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (may include but are not limited to): - Attend general aviation airport board meetings and provide administrative support as needed. - Coordinate meetings, including scheduling and agenda preparation. Ensuring project teams are well informed. - Manage Airport Joint Automated Capital Improvement Program (JACIP) documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. - Prepare monthly invoice backup documentation in accordance with Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) requirements. - Generate front-end documents for airport projects, including bid packages, requests for proposals and other necessary paperwork. - Perform risk management to minimize project risks. - Document all project stages and ensure that all team members understand the project objectives. - Responsible for drafting, compiling, and submitting grant applications to secure funding for airport projects and initiatives. - Coordinates technical and administrative activities with other internal departments and disciplines participating in the project. - Analyze and evaluate project data and metrics to track and report project progress and issues in-progress. - Nights and weekends are generally not required but may occasionally be necessary with little or no advanced notice. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Aviation Management, and/or Engineering, or a related field. - 0-2 years' experience. - Proficiency with MS Outlook, MS Excel, and MS Word. - Experience with FDOT regulations and procedures, preferred. - Experience with AutoCAD, preferred. The primary responsibilities of the Airfield Inspector are to inspect and review small to large construction methods in accordance with applicable codes and standards included in the project drawings and specifications and to provide general inspections on construction labor and subcontractor work to assure a good and cooperative operation.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (may include but are not limited to): - Conducts construction inspections according to approved drawings and specifications. - Ensures compliance with the project plans, specifications, and local building codes. - Monitors and documents construction activities. - Prepares field investigation and construction inspection reports. - Observes, monitors, and reports on quality control and quality assurance material field testing required to determine contractor’s compliance with contract specifications. - Provides field measurements and assists in compiling quantity reports (CQVs) for payment of quantities and changes in the work.   - Reviews airfield improvement plans and permits, conducts field inspections and/or participates in field meetings. - Prepares and maintains inspector daily reports (IDR’s) of work-in-progress and provides status reports relative to completion of work in accordance with the project plans and specifications for the Owner and other funding and shareholders. - Records and reports on any deviations from the contract documents. - Provides high-level communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives in performance, and compliance to plans and specifications. - Maintains and promotes a safe working environment. - Able and available to support work requirements based on day or night shifts and /or flexible schedules, including weekends as required, to support the project requirements, sometimes with little or no advanced notice. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS - High school graduate or equivalent, required. Higher education, preferred. - Inspection certifications, preferred. - Minimum of 3+ years’ experience inspecting airport or roadway/transportation construction projects, required. - Experience in the inspection of asphalt, concrete, earthwork, lighting, signals and structures. - Experience with DOT and FAA construction methods, materials, standards, and specifications, desired. - Working knowledge of applicable statutes, rules, ordinances, codes and regulations governing airport operations, required. - Must be able to read and interpret airfield plans and specifications and have a solid understanding of complex construction means and methods, desired. - Must be able to handle basic geometric mathematical calculations involving linear distances, areas, and volumes.  - Must have good written and communication skills.  - Must have reasonable computer skills and be literate in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, and should be proficient in Procore or other Construction Management software. - Knowledge of engineering and construction practices and principles. - Knowledge of safety construction practices and principles. - Ability to read and understand contract documents.  REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY, AND SKILLS - Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of clients, management, and employees. - Ability to organize work, set priorities, meet critical deadlines, and follow-up on assignments with minimal supervision. - Ability to maintain confidentially and protect privileged client information and documents appropriately. - Knowledge of correct English usage including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary. As part of a design team, the primary responsibilities of the Engineer are small and large infrastructure planning and design, stormwater design and permitting, pavement evaluations and designs, site and facilities design, commercial site development layouts, utility system design, and related services. Duties also include generating engineering reports, preparation of project specifications, assembling permit applications (City, County, and State) and providing engineering oversight during construction. Duties also include preparation of project specifications and assembling permit submittals (City, County, and State).   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (may include but are not limited to): - Support the engineering team with CAD knowledge. - Develop CAD drawings for assigned department. - Create plans independently and under direction from senior staff. - Technical development of contract plans and marketing exhibits. - Maintain project drawing files. - Create maps, graphs, charts, overlays, base drawings, details and sketches. - Complete red line mark-ups and address design comments related to the site layout and details. - Organize and prepare a variety of complex layouts and drawings from written or verbal specifications or from rough or detailed sketches. - Follow CAD standards for the project established by the client, firm, and industry. - Recommend standards and symbols to meet specialized needs of a particular project, or to facilitate or improve CAD productivity. - Maintain current knowledge of design and drafting procedures in specialty field. - Use basic quantity and geometry calculations in creation of drawings. - Perform mathematical calculations and quantity takeoffs. - Nights and weekends are generally not required but may occasionally be necessary with little or no advanced notice. As part of a design team, the primary responsibilities of the Engineer are small and large infrastructure planning and design, stormwater design and permitting, pavement evaluations and designs, site and facilities design, commercial site development layouts, utility system design, and related services. Duties also include generating engineering reports, preparation of project specifications, assembling permit applications (City, County, and State) and providing engineering oversight during construction. Position will provide exposure to Site Development, Municipal, Aviation, and Department of Defense projects.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (may include but are not limited to): - Assists in the various design elements to complete a project, system, component, or system with other team members with clear and specified objectives involving conventional types of plans, surveys, investigations, structures, and/or equipment. - Assists in the preparation of complete project documentation to include plans, specifications, and engineer estimates including the collection, assembling, and organizing of project data. - Evaluates, selects, and adapts standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to project assignments; formulates and solves problems with guidance and direction. - Plans and coordinates detailed aspects of engineering work; works on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects using time efficiently to stay within budget and deliver on time. - Assists in the preparation of project scopes, tasks, budgets, and schedules. - Assists with proposals including bid documents, project reports, studies, and other documentation. - Receives direction on key objectives; receives guidance on unconventional or complex programs, direction on modified techniques, and new approaches on assignments with conflicting criteria. - Nights and weekends are generally not required but may occasionally be necessary with little or no advanced notice.
